Canine Concierge Corporation Launches Fall Fundraising Campaign and Celebrates Recent Grant Awards

Fairfax County, Virginia, September 23, 2024 – Canine Concierge Corporation, a nonprofit committed to improving well-being through animal-assisted therapy (AAT), is excited to announce the launch of its fall fundraising campaign. This initiative aims to secure essential funding for acquiring American Kennel Club (AKC) bloodline Golden Retrievers, expanding our therapy dog program, and reaching more individuals in need.

Fundraising Campaign for AKC Golden Retrievers

This fall, Canine Concierge Corporation is launching a dynamic fundraising campaign to support the purchase and training of AKC Golden Retrievers. These dogs are specifically bred and trained for excellence in our therapy programs, ensuring temperament, health, and skills needed to provide comfort and healing. We aim to raise $52,000 per quarter to cover the costs of acquiring and maintaining these invaluable therapy dogs.

Why AKC Bloodline Golden Retrievers?

While many wonderful dogs are available from local shelters as pets or emotional support animals, our therapy programs require the specialized traits found in AKC Golden Retrievers. Their predictable temperament, trainability, and physical health are vital to the success of our programs and the well-being of those we serve.

Celebrating Recent Grant Awards

Canine Concierge Corporation is proud to announce recent significant grants, including the Google Ad Grants, PayPal Giving Fund, and YouTube Nonprofit Program. These awards underscore the importance of our mission and provide crucial support to expand our services and reach more individuals in need.

Support Our Mission with Tax-Deductible Donations

We invite our community, supporters, and partners to join us in making a difference. All donations are tax-deductible and will directly impact our ability to provide life-changing therapy to individuals facing emotional and psychological challenges. Our services are provided free of charge to hospitals, nursing homes, senior centers, and police stations. Together, we can extend the healing power of animal-assisted therapy.

Mission-Driven Advocacy

At the heart of Canine Concierge is a mission to educate the public on the profound impact of AAT dogs. By partnering with local media and community organizations, Canine Concierge is raising awareness about the essential role these therapy dogs play, similar to service dogs, in providing emotional and psychological support.

Amplifying Our Reach

This year, Michael has invested in powerful commercials on Hulu, captivating daily ads on Google, Facebook, and YouTube, and a vibrant monthly newsletter to engage the community. These efforts aim to amplify Canine Concierge’s message and broaden its reach.

Canine Concierge Corporation: Pioneering a Path of Healing and Hope through Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT)

Fairfax County, VA – March 19, 2024 – With a genuine commitment to making a meaningful impact in the community, Canine Concierge Corporation strides boldly into the spring season, heralding a new era of compassion and connection. Founded by Michael Stokes, an SSA-disabled, retired IT contractor driven by a profound, deep-seated desire to serve, this nonprofit organization emerges as a beacon of light dedicated to enhancing lives through the transformative power of animal-assisted therapy (AAT).

Inspired by the unwavering loyalty of his cherished Kuwaiti rescue dog, whose memory resonates deeply within him, Michael embarked on this noble journey to pay homage to his faithful companion and extend a lifeline of support to those in need within our community.

The journey of Canine Concierge has been one marked by determination and resilience. Overcoming significant challenges, from navigating the intricacies of the nonprofit establishment to securing essential licenses and insurance, the team has forged ahead with unwavering resolve. With a keen eye on the future, in addition to securing a virtual office in the Regus building, Canine Concierge has transformed a humble hotel suite into a cutting-edge facility meticulously designed to cater to the needs of their dedicated therapy dogs and Michael himself. This dedication has not gone unnoticed, as evidenced by the recent accolade of the Virginia State Corporation Commission’s Certificate of Good Standing.

Yet, the journey is far from over. Canine Concierge stands at the threshold of a new chapter, poised to expand its reach and impact within the community. The community’s support is vital as they endeavor to acquire and train two American Kennel Club (AKC) Golden Retrievers, procure essential supplies, and launch comprehensive marketing campaigns to raise awareness of their invaluable services.

A profound commitment to education and advocacy lies at the heart of Canine Concierge’s mission. Their goal is simple yet profound: to elevate public understanding and appreciation of AAT dogs, positioning them alongside their esteemed counterparts, Service dogs. Recognizing the pivotal role of local media in shaping community narratives, Canine Concierge seeks to foster greater awareness through strategic partnerships and outreach efforts.

  • In February, Michael aired commercials on the Hulu streaming TV network, ran daily ads on the Google, Facebook, and YouTube social media platforms, launched a monthly newsletter, and has a public service announcement (PSA) under consideration by the top ten DC Metro area broadcast TV networks.

Through the tireless dedication of their medically trained therapy dogs, Canine Concierge aims to offer a lifeline of hope and healing to those facing adversity. These remarkable animals serve as steadfast companions, offering solace and support to individuals navigating the complexities of emotional challenges. The impact of AAT knows no bounds, from reducing the risk of cardiovascular events to providing comfort in times of distress.

While the landscape of AAT continues to evolve, significant barriers persist, including invisible coverage from major insurance providers. Canine Concierge is trying to challenge these barriers, advocating for greater recognition and support for AAT services locally and nationally.

  • Canine Concierge spearheaded communication with Capitol Hill policymakers and all the major health insurance carriers for reconsideration of AAT insurance coverage.

As a community-driven organization, Canine Concierge relies on the generosity of philanthropists, grants, and sponsors to fulfill their vital mission. With the support of compassionate individuals like you, Canine Concierge can continue to spread comfort, healing, and joy to those who need it most.

Join Canine Concierge in their noble pursuit of spreading hope and healing through animal-assisted therapy (AAT). For more information on how you can get involved, please contact us at 571-375-5932 or [email protected].

Canine Concierge Corporation: Bringing Joy and Healing Through Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT)

Fairfax, VA – January 2, 2024 – Canine Concierge Corporation bursts into the new year with boundless enthusiasm, announcing its establishment as a force for change in our community. This nonprofit organization, founded by Michael Stokes, a retired IT contractor and compassionate soul, has a singular mission — improving lives through the power of animal-assisted therapy (AAT) dogs. With a heart full of hope, Canine Concierge is set to make waves, spreading joy, comfort, and healing in hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation facilities, senior citizens’ centers, and police stations throughout Fairfax.

Michael’s inspiration stems from the unwavering loyalty of his beloved Kuwaiti rescue dog, who recently passed away after 14 incredible years. Michael embarked on this noble endeavor to honor his furry friend’s memory and give back to the community that supported him throughout his career, eager to make a real difference.

Canine Concierge has overcome substantial hurdles, from setting up the nonprofit and securing insurance and licenses to renting a contemporary studio space in the Regus virtual office building. The team is transforming a hotel suite into a state-of-the-art facility for their working dogs and Michael.  It was recently awarded the Virginia State Corporation Commission’s Certificate of Good Standing.  However, they still need support from the community to ensure seamless operations, raise awareness, and extend their outreach. Contributions are vital for training two American Kennel Club (AKC) Golden Retrievers, procuring supplies, launching digital and print marketing campaigns, and covering day-to-day operational costs.

These specially trained therapy dogs provided by Canine Concierge offer countless benefits to those in need. They play a crucial role in reducing the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and seizures, while their presence helps alleviate stress, anxiety, and fear. These incredible animals create a calm atmosphere, lower blood pressure, encourage interaction, and provide irreplaceable companionship. Moreover, their therapy supports individuals recovering from PTSD or other traumas, offers respite from loneliness and isolation, and extends compassionate support to those grieving the loss of a loved one.

While the animal-assisted therapy (AAT) industry has flourished nationwide for over two decades, it still lacks comprehensive coverage from major insurance providers. Canine Concierge is on a mission to break down these barriers, rouse awareness, and ensure that AAT services receive the recognition and financial backing they deserve.

As a community-driven nonprofit organization, Canine Concierge relies on the generosity of philanthropists, grants, sponsors, and donations to bring these invaluable services to those who need them most. With your support, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals facing difficult circumstances.
